The Rolling Seas Kitchen by SUEDE + STONE

For the homeowners of this seaside paradise, a little bit of colour, a whole lot of texture, and a cozy island perfect for sipping morning coffee, were key requirements in creating the kitchen of their dreams for this retired couple.

Designed by TIDA award-winning Kate Gardham from Suede + Stone, this space delivers exactly that.

With the perfect balance between stone and timber, this kitchen offers a mixture of harmonious textures and patterns.

It's hard to miss the beautiful veining detailing in the marble island benchtop and granite splashback, which add a strong sense of movement and energy to this dreamy haven.   

Our favourite space is the cooking station, which can be accessed behind the elegant glass Concepta pocket doors. Our Concepta bi-fold doors creates a division of the cooking and washing zones, allowing designated areas for tasks, while still showcasing the exquisite Princess Grey Granite.

With a focus on functionality and strong aesthetics, it’s no wonder this kitchen was highly commended for the 2022 TIDA Kitchen Awards.
